We manufacture a wide range of performance oriented cyclone separators, which are highly appreciated for their superior quality and excellent durability. These cyclone separators are specifically designed for removing dirt, sand and solid particles from injection flow to mechanical seal. Our range of high efficiency cyclone separators are ideal for effectively removing large to moderate size particles, such as wood chips, metal grinding, saw dust, etc from air and gas stream.

Cyclone separator utilizes centrifugal force generated by a spinning gas stream to separate the particulate matter from the carrier gas. The centrifugal force on the particles in a spinning gas stream is much greater than gravity. There is a variety of cyclone designs, differing in manner in which the rotating motion is imparted on the gas stream.

In operation the particle-laden gas upon entering the cyclone cylinder receives a rotating motion. The vortex so formed develops a centrifugal force, which acts to throw the particles radially towards the wall. The gas spirals downward to the bottom of the cone and at the bottom the gas flows reverse to form a inner vortex which leaves through the outlet pipe.

In cyclone the gas in addition to moving in a circular path also moves radially. Since, the tangential velocity of the particles and he gas are same, the relative velocity between gas and particle is simply equal to the radial velocity of gas. Thos results a drag force on the particle towards the center. Generally the collection efficiency is a function of increasing function of radial velocity. As the diameter of the particle increases or as the cross sectional area of the inlet decreases, radial velocity will increase appreciably, resulting in an increase in efficiency but with a high pressure drop.

Bag Filter

Our range of high quality bag filters allow trouble free-operation with compressed air jet cleaning. These bag filters are available in various capacities and can also be customize as per the specifications of our clients.

This bag filter is the oldest and most efficient method of removing particulate matter from the gas. In principle, the dust-laden gas passes through a fabric in which the particles are trapped due to different physical mechanisms. The important ones for separating particles from the gas stream are inertial impaction, direct impaction and diffusion. The bag filter system typically consists of tubular bags suspended or mounted in such a manner that the collected particles are dislodged from the fabric and is collected in a hopper. Generally particle-laden gas enters from the bottom, passes through the fabric and come out from the top. Initially, the removal efficiency is comparatively low. As a layer of dust is formed, precoat layer, the efficiency increases. The dust forms a cake like structure, which are periodically removed by either mechanical shaking or pulse jet.

The bag filter has high efficiency of dust collection in the range of superfine dust. But the limiting factors are moisture, high temperature, and corrosive nature of gas.

Wet Scrubber

Wet Scrubber

The basic function of wet scrubber is to provide contact between scrubbing liquid and the gas stream. This contact can be achieved by impaction. Generally interception and impaction are important for dust collection. But for Gas scrubbing Diffusiophoretic deposition is significant for mass transfer. In general the gas enters from the bottom of the wet scrubber. Due to its very nature it moves upward. The liquid falls from the top. Obviously there will be contact at a specific time between these two phases. As a result the mass from the gas stream will be transferred to the liquid phase. Depending on contact time the rate of mass transfer will be determined. As the gas moves upward the more it gets free from load.The liquid comes out from the system and disposed of after treatment.

In general, Sodium hydroxide is the most suitable liquid for SOx and Ammonium bicarbonate and Calcium hydroxide for NOx for scrubbing.
